Just when I thought this week was busy and packed, the unexpected happen: Edie, my dear family friend and second mom, died suddenly after having a stroke. She had been ill for a while, but this caught everyone off guard. Edie essentially helped raise me from the time I was 6 weeks old when my mom had to go back to work. As you can imagine I’m not handling this very well.
